In this role, you will obtain exposure to day-to-day Finance operations that support the entire business ranging from sales reporting, recording journal entries, and analysis of financial statements.
Ideal candidates will be individuals who want to learn Finance operations, are career-minded, detail-oriented, and utilize creative problem-solving abilities.

Note: Hourly Pay $20.00-23.00 CAD. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.

What you'll be doing:
- Perform various aspects of accounting, including accounts receivable reconciliations, timekeeping analysis, and auditing of accounting data
- Lead collections process on accounts receivable and support client invoicing processes
- Participate in year-end audit of consolidated financial statements
- Evaluate project documentation to apply revenue recognition concepts and accurately update system information
- Assess business processes to identify ways to more accurately forecast, analyze, and report results
- Gain exposure to various tools, including JAMIS Prime and Concur software
- Assist in applying knowledge to analyze, investigate, and resolve non-routine problems
- Ability to interface with middle and senior-level management and articulate financial information in a clear and concise manner
- Performs other duties as assigned or required
- Completed at least second year of Bachelor's program in Accounting, or related field of study
- 2/4.0 GPA or higher
- Professional written & verbal communication
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate with team members using interpersonal skills
- A high level of integrity and attention to detail
- Strong independent judgment and leadership skills
- Beginner to intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Experience working in a corporate environment through a prior co-op term or internship, preferred
