Over the decades, we have developed a wide range of services, including economic studies, project management, detailed design, procurement, site management, commissioning and industrial programming. This division provides a full range of services to the energy, oil and gas, industrial and mining projects, including all services offered in the field of engineering from conceptual and feasibility studies to complete detailed engineering in EPCM, to the closure and dismantling of mine sites. WSP is currently looking for an Operations, Coordinator to join our Renewable Energy team in one of our Canadian offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Thornhill, Montreal or Quebec. Reporting to the National Quality Manager for Power, this person will assist the manager in the implementation of the National Quality Program.

WSP is currently looking for an Operations, Coordinator to join our Renewable Energy team in one of our Canadian offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Thornhill, Montreal or Quebec. Reporting to the National Quality Manager for Power, this person will assist the manager in the implementation of the National Quality Program.
What you can expect to do here:
- Provide expertise in the day-to-day application of the Quality Management System to project delivery activities;
- Assist in the development, implementation, application and monitoring of the Quality Program;
- Assisting in developing and maintaining Project Delivery Specific Quality Management Plans;
- Participating in Quality Audits to ensure project services and deliverables meet the Quality Management Plan requirements and preparing corresponding reports;
- Identifying and documenting non-conformances and managing QAR (Quality Actions Requests) in accordance with WSP's National QMS (Quality Management System);
- Coordinating and facilitating Lessons Learned Sessions;
- Directly participating as Quality Coordinator and Auditor in specific project teams;
- Producing and presenting regular reports and metrics summarizing the results of QA/QC training, implementation, auditing and all other activities undertaken or recommended;
- Support with cultivating a culture of quality and best practices;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma in an engineering, or quality assurance discipline or related field;
- Good experience in a project environment, including understanding and implementation of quality management principles and procedures (ISO 9001 or similar);
- Proficient in data collection, analysis and presentation;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision;
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Experience with MS Office suite and other computer skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of the company;
- Bilingual in English/French is an asset.
