Marketplace Pricing Strategist

**Must be willing to work on-site in Markham office 5 days/week**

Key Responsibilities:

• Search online marketplaces and conduct ongoing research to determine industry trends, competitor pricing and customer demand.
• Analyze pricing from various marketplaces to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Analyze pricing data and supply from various sources to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Identify key competitors and monitor their activity.
• Develop and maintain pricing models that accurately reflect an adaptable market.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives, are competitive and profitable.
• Recommend pricing adjustments based on market conditions and performance data to maximize our sales potential.
• Compete on name brand products in the consumer marketplace.
• Compete with manufacturer, consumer markets, ecommerce, parallel import markets.
• Communicate pricing decisions in a clear and professional manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in parallel import markets.
• Familiar with ecommerce marketplaces where you are going up against several different competitors.
• Adaptable and able to strategically modify pricing and product availability based on market trends.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and modeling.
• Knowledge of pricing theories and techniques.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
