Make an impact with our Indigenous Consulting Services team as a Manager. This diverse team of professionals are dedicated to exceeding clients’ unique needs within a rapidly evolving business and financial reporting landscape. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm for Indigenous Nations, businesses, and entrepreneurs in Canada. With more than 270 Indigenous clients and 500 team members dedicated to this sector, no other firm has invested as much time and resources into serving the unique needs of Indigenous communities. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide expertise to empower Indigenous communities, organizations, businesses and individuals in navigating a dynamic social, political and economic environment.

Responsibilities

• Propose, plan, and deliver consulting engagements with Indigenous communities and organizations
• Execute business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program review, program re-deigns, financial analysis and other forms of consulting engagements
• Manage engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials
• Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure needs are met and relationships grow and develop
• Review, design and develop high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations and other correspondence
• Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the client’s business
• Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs
• Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
• Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
  
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, political science or other related field
• 5+ years of consulting experience, ideally in a client-service environment
• Experience working with Indigenous communities or organizations preferred
• PMP or demonstration of advanced project management skills and tactics
• Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
