We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist for an onsite, permanent position with our team in Windsor, ON.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect & record data including appearance (wave-scan), color (BYK-mac) & film build (PELT).
  • Manage relationships with manufacturing & engineering team at customer sites.
  • Maintain key communication regarding daily projects, line issues.
  • Initiate/participate in internal & external business meetings.
  • Build relationships (all levels) – internal & external.
  • Support change initiatives that help teams deliver value.
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while handling multiple projects.
  • Able to work under stressful situation (quality issues/ spills).
  • Good personality, friendly, outgoing - effective communicator.
  • Ability to adapt to flexible shifts (day & afternoon shifts), weekend work, and OT.


Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma required. Additional education/college degree ideal.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with automotive coatings application and/or automotive coatings experience.
  • Knowledge of general paint processes - robotic applicators.
  • Knowledge and troubleshooting paint quality issues.
  • Knowledge of mix room functions – inventory control, usage, material validation (viscosity, pH).
