Purpose of Role: The Power Engineer/Rubber Liner will carry out rubber lining processes according to standard safety procedures. They will be responsible for reading blueprints and drawings to achieve accuracy with laying, lining, and applying rubber on product. This role also involves operating autoclaves to ensure the efficient curing of rubber products, which encompasses loading and unloading products onto autoclave carts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Product: Prepare pipes, tanks, and other vessels for application of rubber lining by rolling or painting interior surfaces after the sandblasting operation has been completed
- Apply Rubber: Apply rubber to interior surfaces by following instructions, drawings and sketches provided
- Oversee Autoclaves: Operate and monitor the Autoclave for the rubber curing process. Complete and maintain all records including autoclave logs, charts, material movements, and material consumptions to the jobs and provide reports as required
- Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and handling of material within the facility both manually and mechanically
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- High School diploma
- Class 4 Power Engineering certificate required
- Technical Safety BC (TSBC) permit
- Basic knowledge of measuring and hand tools
