- Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
- Manage access control
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property
- Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence
- Conduct Daily Reports and Incident Reports and send it via emails
- Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
- Monitor access of entryways and exit points
- Conduct preventive surveillance rounds
- Point of contact with authorities and emergency services
- Check all doors and ensure they are closed and not jimmied anyway to allow for entrance.
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- Available to work Morning Shifts and weekends
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
