, How you will make contributions that matter:, Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematic and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installationsInstall, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting and other electrical components.Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switch meters, regulators and reactors.Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.Conduct preventative maintenance programs and keep maintenance recordsMaintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devicesCommunicating on a constant basis with plant personalEnsure that all work is performed safely while following OH&S, WCB, Food Safety and other Company regulations and procedures., You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:, Electrician with a journeyperson ticket/license or certificate of qualificationExcited and willing to work day & night shift (6 - 6) including weekendsProven hands-on experience within food industry or high-speed packaging plant (preferred)Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experienceAble to work collaboratively with all departmentsHighly motivated initiator, able to work independently with minimum supervisionEffective communication skills, able to complete computer-based workorders
