Description
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Commercial Service Technician is responsible for responding to highway and after-hour calls on a rotational basis. They drive a Kal Tire Road Service vehicle fitted with all the necessary tools and equipment to provide excellent service to our customers by performing front shop service, off-site fleet service and roadside assistance.
This role will be based out of our 2671 Box Springs Close NW, Medicine Hat, AB location.

- Perform tire removal, installation, and repair services safely for commercial tires. This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, inflating and installing repaired or new tires, and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to standard operating procedures.
- Conduct diagnostics, evaluate the reparability of damage, and choose and complete proper repair methods.
- Keen willingness to learn in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Opportunity to progress operating a Service Truck.
- You have a strong mechanical ability and the ability to solve problems on the spot.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to excel in a physical environment and easily lift 50 lbs.
- Safety mindset, ready to wear all required PPE and follow all safety procedures.
- Automotive or tire experience is an asset.
