Role Overview

The Bilingual Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving new business and managing client relationships throughout the full sales cycle, with a primary focus on the Quebec market and additional support for other regions as needed. This role requires fluency in both French and English, a consultative sales approach, and a proven track record in B2B software sales. The ideal candidate excels at both lead generation and relationship management, from the first call to contract completion, ensuring a seamless client experience and consistent revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
    • Proactively identify, qualify, and engage new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels in Quebec and other assigned regions.
    • Develop and execute territory plans to build a robust sales pipeline.
    • Leverage CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) to track leads, activities, and progress.
  • Sales Cycle Management
    • Own the full sales process: discovery, needs analysis, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
    • Deliver compelling presentations tailored to the construction industry and client needs.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (product, implementation, support) to ensure alignment and a smooth handoff post-sale.
  • Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospects and clients, building trust and long-term partnerships.
    • Manage and nurture relationships from initial engagement through to contract completion and beyond, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Market & Industry Expertise
    • Stay current on construction industry trends, regional market dynamics, and competitive landscape, especially in Quebec.
    • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to refine offerings and messaging for the Quebec market and other regions.
  • Reporting & Forecasting
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast revenue using CRM and reporting tools.
    • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of successful B2B software sales experience, ideally in construction, ERP, or related SaaS environments.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative, solution-based sales role.
  • Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written), with the ability to present, negotiate, and build relationships in both languages.
  • Deep understanding of the Quebec business environment and culture; experience selling into the Quebec construction sector is a strong asset.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with experience engaging C-level stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience with construction or financial/accounting software solutions.
  • Knowledge of construction industry workflows, regulations, and procurement processes in Quebec.
  • Ability to travel within Quebec and occasionally to other regions as required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and accounts simultaneously.
