Order Picker Student

We currently have an exciting opportunity as an Order Picker Student. This role is based in our Edmonton Distribution Centre and reports to the Distribution Centre Manager.

The Order Picker Student will be responsible for accurately and quickly servicing a fast-paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select and set up orders to ship
• Loading and unloading trucks using counterbalance
• Perform daily pre-inspections of Mobile Equipment
• Pick and pack orders from warehouse racking
• Process picked orders to prepare each box for shipment to the client
• Accurately build the products onto pallets, and prepare the pallets for shipping
• Maintain a strict housekeeping standard
• Report safety and security issues to your direct supervisor
• Communicate discrepancies clearly and efficiently with team members
  
  

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

• Currently enrolled in College or University
• Experience operating Order Pickers & Reach Forklifts
• Experience working in a warehouse and/or distribution environment
• Experience supporting with RF equipment and remote printers
• Skilled in handling challenging priorities and problem-solving
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
