Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring two Senior Payroll Associates on a permanent basis within our People & Culture team. This position is a hybrid opportunity, so the successful candidate must be local to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for local Co-op clients, ensuring accurate remittances and adherence to deadlines.
- Provide timely customer support to address client inquiries related to pay.
- Assist with year-end duties, including preparing T4s, vacation payouts, and related reports.
- Review payroll correspondence and update employee files, including special payments like bonuses and severance.
- Manage Workers Compensation reports, third-party error notifications, and maintain security of payroll records.
- Other duties as required.

You will work closely with the Payroll Services team and will report into the Supervisor, Payroll Services. This team strives to cultivate a culture of support, collaboration, and community.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Payroll and:
- Have 4 progressive financial accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution and 1 year of related accounting or payroll experience. OR
- Have 8 progressive financial accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution and 2.5 years of related accounting or payroll experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional area.
