Our Investment Operations team is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its Visualization team. The candidate would be part of a team that performs a critical role in the production and oversight of financial statements and other fund publications, in addition to playing a significant role in our strategy towards implementing and strengthening the industrialisation of institutional client reporting. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to details and a deep understanding of financial reporting standards and regulation.

Our Investment Operations team is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its Visualization team. The candidate would be part of a team that performs a critical role in the production and oversight of financial statements and other fund publications, in addition to playing a significant role in our strategy towards implementing and strengthening the industrialisation of institutional client reporting. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to details and a deep understanding of financial reporting standards and regulation.
Reporting to the Director, Fund Operations Management and Visualization, your responsibilities will include:
- To oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and fund publications (Fund Facts and Fund Profiles) for mutual funds and segregated funds. This includes gathering, verifying, and organizing financial data from various sources, and other financial documentation.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement and statement of shareholders’ equity.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, irregularities, and other potential financial risks.
- Ensure financial statements comply with all industry regulatory standards.
- Monitor and implement appropriate controls surrounding the production of various financial reports, regulatory reporting and other investment publications.
- Sound understanding of data governance and actively collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Assess client’s needs and assist in the implementation of processes and tools to produce institutional client reporting
- Collaborate to understand data needs and requirements for institutional clients and develop visualization models and solutions to meet those requirements.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA may be preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
- Good understanding of net asset value calculations, investment products and performance
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to details and accuracy in working with financial data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and understand complex financial information
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Because this role involves a culture change and an operating model on a North American scale, the successful candidate will need to be bilingual (English and French).
