Lead Oversight Engineer Senior IV

Agilus is recruiting for a Lead Oversight Engineer Senior IV in the Oil and Gas Sector in Calgary, Alberta.

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Lead Oversight Engineer – Senior IV to provide engineering oversight on the Aitken Creek Gas Storage Optimization Project. This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for ensuring excellence in engineering execution across a complex, multi-scope brownfield and greenfield expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale gas processing projects, overseeing multiple Engineering Contractors, and coordinating multidisciplinary scopes under tight schedules with multiple stakeholders.

A Typical Day

• Provide senior engineering oversight for all aspects of facility and pipeline engineering for both new and existing infrastructure.
• Lead technical interface with multiple Engineering Contractors to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, quality, and cost.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet regulatory, corporate, and project-specific standards.
• Collaborate with construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure engineering supports seamless execution.
• Act as the technical authority and escalation point for complex engineering decisions.
• Ensure robust change management is applied across design development and execution.
  
  

Successful Candidates Will Have

• 15+ years of engineering experience in gas processing facility design and execution.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Professional Technologist (P. Tech. Eng.) in Canada.
• Strong working knowledge of project lifecycle phases including FEL, detailed design, and construction support.
• Deep understanding of process, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and utility systems.
• Demonstrated success delivering large, multi-scope energy infrastructure projects.
• Prior experience in brownfield facility optimization projects.
• Familiarity with pipeline interface considerations in facility design.
• **Driver's Abstract Required due to some driving
