Your primary responsibilities will include:

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in planning, execution and completion of a wide range of clients in either the large client Audit stream as part of a team, or the Private Enterprise stream focusing on Review and Compilation (T1, T2, T3, T5) engagements, both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Supervise junior staff during field assignments, inform managers of engagement status, and manage engagement progress.
  • Analyze financial information, accounting processes, and operations procedures; provide account reconciliations and propose adjusting entries.
  • Assess risk, controls, operational performance, and adherence to the applicable Financial Reporting Framework..
  • Prepare personal, corporate, non-profit organization, and charitable tax returns, if part of the private enterprise team.
  • Collaborate with peers and senior management on file planning and completion within time constraints.
  • Provide personal, attentive service to clients to encourage productive working relationships.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and related note disclosures.


A successful candidate will have:

What You’ll Bring:

  • Successful completion of the Common Final Evaluation (CFE), at a minimum holding a status of CPA-in-waiting.
  • Minimum of three to five years direct experience.
  • Experience leading junior staff on client deliverables.
  • Project management and strong organization skills.
  • Experience with Caseware/Caseview, TaxPrep, Xero and Quickbooks (QBO) is an asset.
