Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation Team

Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation team in our Hamilton Office.

A day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin:

  • Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
  • Review regulatory and historical information, including aerial photographs and city directories
  • Create reports for Clients, summarizing data and drawings from Site assessments and inspections
  • Complete drilling activities and groundwater sampling, and reporting
  • Complete indoor air quality testing for soil vapour analysis investigations
  • Oversee remediation and underground storage tank removals
  • Complete Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments for Records of Site Condition
  • Lead and manage subcontractors during fieldwork activities
  • Become an integral part of the EDR Team

What You Bring To The Pinchin Team

  • Degree in Environmental Science/Studies, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Management or Civil Engineering
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position; however, others with less experience may be considered
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Flexible work schedule, as overtime and out of town work may sometimes be required
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
  • Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment and possess a high level of verbal and written communication skills, which are essential to the position
