Salary range: $95,000 to $110,000 CAD

What You Will Be Doing

Inspection and Quality Control:

• Thoroughly inspect concrete surfaces for any defects, such as cracks, spalling, honeycombing, and discoloration.
• Assess the quality of the concrete surface finish, ensuring it meets the required standards.
• Conduct necessary tests to ensure the concrete meets the required specifications.
  
  

Repair Coordination

• Accurately identify and document all defects found during inspections.
• Oversee and monitor the execution of repairs
  
  

Safety And Compliance

• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety protocols.
• Ensure that all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  
  

Other

• Assemble instruments by means of basic finishing processes such as bending, fitting, grinding, sharpening, deburring and basic blending and polishing.
• Perform simple measurements using micrometers, angle finders and calipers.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Direct the crew in diverse concrete finishing operations.
• Lead pouring, finishing and repair of concrete.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
• Monitor and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
• Reinforce repairs with steel mesh or other materials as needed.
• Other duties as required.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or in other relevant field
• Knowledge of Operating power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret machine schematics.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with finishing & repair of concrete on the site.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrates good problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
