JOB OBJECTIVE
The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in collaborating with outside Sales Agencies and the Sales Management team to ensure that key sales initiatives and revenue targets are met within assigned territories. This role also focuses on delivering the highest level of customer service to our accounts. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, opening, and onboarding new accounts in the assigned territory.
NATURE AND SCOPE
The Inside Sales Representative reports to the Inside Sales Manager and collaborates closely with Sales Agents and the Sales Management team to ensure all sales goals and targets are met.
In this role, you drive sales by providing exceptional sales support and solutions to customers and Sales Agents. You ensure company programs, policies, tools, and resources are effectively implemented and utilized by Accounts and Sales Agents. Additionally, you manage the onboarding of new accounts and work with the Sales Management Team and Sales Agents to achieve the sales goals outlined on the Scorecard.
You possess extensive knowledge of Stormtech’s products, systems, and service offerings. Proficiency in Excel, Teams, and other Microsoft applications is essential to promote the Stormtech brand and facilitate effective communication with Accounts and Sales Agents. Strong communication skills—via phone, email, virtual platforms, and in person—are critical for success in this role.
Building strong relationships with Sales Agents and Accounts is key to understanding their business needs and providing proactive, outbound sales support. This ability will be central to your success in the position.

Specific Accountabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned Sales Agents and Accounts.
- Identify, onboard, and train new accounts in the assigned territory using the onboarding program.
- Train and onboard new distributor representatives within existing accounts.
- Distribute marketing materials (physical and digital) and ensure customers understand associated calls to action.
- Provide pre-sale support to Sales Reps, including quotes, virtuals, product/decoration recommendations, and estimated turnaround times.
- Execute sales strategies aligned with Stormtech’s broader initiatives, ensuring Sales Agents achieve scorecard targets.
- Keep accounts informed of Stormtech’s pricing, key contacts, policies, promotions & sales tools.
- Coordinate pre- and post-meeting materials, including virtuals, storyboards, samples, and spec samples, to support Agent PKs and key tradeshows.
- Manage the ISR discretionary budget effectively to meet sample targets.
- Assist Agents in securing showroom and additional sample orders to meet targets and deadlines.
- Promote strategic initiatives and marketing campaigns through outbound calls, emails, and product presentations.
- Generate awareness and interest in clearance items.
- Maintain and update customer profiles, including contact information, client details, key event dates, and Target Account information.
- Resolve escalated issues promptly while adhering to company policies and procedures,
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is required to effectively support customers and Sales Agents across Canada and the USA.
- Utilize bilingual communication skills to handle customer inquiries, conduct presentations, and provide sales support in both languages.
- Translate and adapt marketing materials, emails, and other resources as needed to ensure effective communication with bilingual Accounts and Sales Agents.
- Build stronger relationships with Accounts and Sales Agents by providing culturally and linguistically relevant support.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficient in presenting & communicating on digital platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and WebEx.
- Experienced in making outbound calls, warm & cold calling, to identify new revenue opportunities.
- Advanced problem-solving, planning, and issue-resolution skills, with the ability to anticipate and address challenges quickly.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively without compromising quality.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to achieve high standards of customer excellence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
