The Virtual Switchers team is recruiting a DevOps Engineer to participate in building, maintaining, and scaling our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development team to ensure a smooth and reliable delivery of our software. You will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to all aspects of our DevOps practices, from infrastructure as code to automated deployments.

What the job is all about:
- Provision, configure, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform.
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Package and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement and manage configuration management solutions using tools like Helm and potentially exploring tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages (Python, Shell Scripting, Go).
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
- Implement security best practices throughout the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and security of our infrastructure and processes.
- 2-3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Proven experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services), including services like EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS etc.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with GitLab CI/CD.
- Proficient with Terraform/OpenTofu/Crossplane for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Solid understanding of Docker and containerization principles.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes deployments. Familiarity with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux is a plus.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Shell Scripting, Go).
- Proficient with Git and GitLab.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana.
- Adaptability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to practical use cases.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
