As the Licensing Specialist, you will ensure that our clients are on the road and always compliant. The Licensing Specialist is responsible for processing and renewing vehicle registrations as well as responding to incoming inquiries and requests including billing related tasks relevant to the Licensing team. A successful candidate works well in a team environment, is confident in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates exceptional organizational and people skills, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

A Day in the Life

  • Complete Licensing projects – lease assignments and assumptions, name changes, sale lease back, amalgamations, provincial registration number creation, join ventures
  • Ensure deliverables are completed to satisfy the monthly requirements within benchmarks
  • Execute incoming Service Cloud requests, ensuring accurate, detailed, and on time responses
  • Process billing for all Licensing related tasks
  • Ensure all billing is received and processed prior to billing cutoff for month in question
  • Service as Licensing Subject Matter Expert, assisting Commercial team as needed
  • Serve as point of contact to communicate and resolve issues with other teams
  • Assist team to complete daily tasks during seasonal highs and vacation periods

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Comprehensive understanding of Canadian Licensing regulations and requirements is an asset
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required
  • Fleet industry experience is an asset
  • 2 – 3 years of customer service experience preferred

The hiring base salary range for this position is $54,400 to $74,800 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
