Production Associate

ENTRY LEVEL PRODUCTION POSITION
Reporting to the Sawmill Supervisor. Entry level jobs are very active and you should be prepared to be on your feet for the duration of your day. This is a fast-paced work environment in an industrial setting with noise and vibration. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also required to work in our team environment.
You’ll Do:
- Regular lifting of 15-25lbs and periodically up to 60lbs may occur.
- Put sticks in hopper.
- Replace empty stick carts with full stick carts
- Monitor stick placement
- Use various hand tools.
- Work both indoors and outdoor, in all weather conditions
You’ll Have:
- Commitment to working safely and creating a safe work place
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work a rotation of days and nights.
Considered a strong asset:
- Previous experience working in a sawmill, planer mill or with forest products
Compensation Package:
- The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
