The Infrastructure Financial Planning & Analytics Technology (IFPAT) group delivers solutions to optimize the management of Morgan Stanley’s Infrastructure & Support Services organizations. This Business Analyst role focuses on capturing and converting business requirements into functional designs, serving as a liaison between diverse user groups and application development teams for large, cross-divisional projects (Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, etc.).

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $25.43/hour - $39.73/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Key Responsibilities
- Collect requirements, create flow diagrams, generate summary slides, and produce business process documentation.
- Convert user requirements into user stories (maintained in Jira) for grooming and inclusion in development sprints.
- Utilize Kanban and Scrum methodologies to manage story backlogs; create user story formats, test cases, and define success criteria.
- Develop user interface wireframes; document application behavior, data analysis, and business rules.
- Assist in creating and executing system and user acceptance test plans.
- Coordinate and support training programs, working with business areas and the training department.
- Investigate and resolve production support requests for existing applications.
- Manage project plans/work breakdown structures, compile project status reports, manage scope, and set governance models.
- Apply different requirements gathering techniques (gap analysis, cross-functional flows, use case modeling).
- Demonstrate ownership of process/system in workforce planning & budgeting, capital budgeting, IT funding requests, cash/fiscal planning, or other financial management processes.
- Experience with requirements gathering, process modeling, and gap analysis.
- Strong user story creation and backlog management in Jira.
- Familiarity with Kanban and Scrum methodologies.
- User interface wireframing and application documentation.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting business applications.
- Project management experience: developing project plans, compiling status reports, and managing project governance.
- Training coordination and support.
- Financial management process expertise in one or more areas: workforce planning, capital budgeting, IT funding, fiscal planning.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with diverse user groups.
