You As a Law Clerk Will

  • Maintain minute books and draft associated documentation for the EllisDon Group of Companies
  • Perform a variety of legal and administrative duties while coordinating and assisting lawyers with assigned matters
  • Maintain corporate organizational and signatory information for the EllisDon Group of Companies
  • Prepare and file annual returns and resolutions, business name registrations and partnership registrations for the EllisDon Group of Companies across the country
  • Prepare and file articles and corporate documentation relating to incorporation, amendments, dissolutions and other corporate transactions
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of various corporate precedent documents
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of contract comments in response to procurement requirements or as part of active negotiations
  • Prepare and attend to the execution of closing documents associated with transaction closings
  • Assist with routine contract review

This Is The Right Role For You If

  • You have completed a Law Clerk program recognized by the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario
  • You have 2 - 5 years of experience in an in-house environment
  • You have great attention to details
  • You have excellent time management and organization skills
  • You are proficient in MS Office and have strong computer skills
