Cloud Architect - Azure

Role : Azure Technical Architect

Location : Canada- Remote

Who are we looking for?

A Cloud architect for a critical transformational program. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure tailored to business requirements.


• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.


• Collaborate with stakeholders including application developers, DevOps teams, data engineers, and security teams.


• Develop architecture blueprints, reference models, and design patterns.


• Ensure Azure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and cost optimization standards.


• Guide development and implementation teams during project execution.


• Define governance, standards, and best practices for Azure environments.


• Provide technical leadership in workshops, architecture reviews, and project planning sessions.


• Stay up to date with Azure services, features, and capabilities; assess impact on enterprise architecture.

Technical Skills:

• 15+ years of experience in IT Industry with track record as Cloud, Hybrid, Datacenter and Migration


• Must have expertise and experience in multiple cloud platforms ( AWS/Azure/GCP)


• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting


• Leverage end to end services in datacenter and cloud transformation projects


• Build processes and automation using - Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM


• Design complex business requirements to innovative cloud first solutions


• Knowledge of Network, Security architecture and processes


• Perform environmental analysis to identify architectural improvement opportunities.


• Work on complex/long running issues or projects.


• Ability to creates, contributes, and implement best practices in Cloud Operations.


• Detailed expertise in operations activities (i.e. Patch Mgt., Migrations, Upgrades, Assessments etc.)

Process Skills:

• Should have led at least 2-3 large size transformational projects as technology architect.


• Performed consultative engagements independently like environmental assessments/estate wide remediation plan.


• Has exposure to pre-sales support and capability building activities.


• Keeping abreast of industry trends, technology innovation, and changing customer requirements to help with the continual service improvement.

Certification:

B. E / B. Tech in Electronics/Telecommunications computer science or equivalent degree in IT related field.
