Job Description:
This is a maternity leave coverage position where you'll oversee budgeting, construction, and handover of tenant improvement (TI) and capital expenditure projects. Your responsibilities will include managing quotes, coordinating schedules, handling change orders, and ensuring all trades are on track. You'll also organize documentation, attend meetings with tenants and leasing teams, and follow up on any project deficiencies.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction management (preferably with Tenant Improvement experience), excellent communication skills, and a valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle. A background in Project Management is a plus.

- Coordinating drawings/proposals for pricing
- Reviewing TI/Capital Improvement documentations/ engineer/ consultant reports
- Issuing approved contracts/ purchase orders
- Track and manage change orders from trades
- Work with Leasing and Commercial Property Management teams on tenant change orders
- Manage trades construction schedule/timeline
- Organize warranties/manuals/ close out documents from trades and file for our records and to send to tenants at handover. For large tenants, put together binder of warranties and manuals
- Ensure trades have construction schedule and are prepared to begin when they are due
- Follow up with trades and deficiencies and ensure completion
- Attend all meetings with Tenants/Leasing
- Maintain spec lists for TI's and Capital Improvements.
- Draft contracts and track contracts
- 3+ years construction management experience, with a preference for previous Tenant Improvement experience
- Post-secondary education in Project Management an asset
- Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills
- This position will require access to a reliable personal vehicle and a valid BC driver’s license
