About The Opportunity
We are currently sourcing a Senior C++ Developer for our west-end client. HQ'd in Kanata, this software company is an industry-leader in their mission-critical domain and has several offices worldwide to serve their global client base. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, this person will join a growing agile team of skilled Software Engineers in the development of an AI-enabled, real-time data collection solution. Above all, they value attitude and aptitude over the perfect technical fit.
This is a permanent position with one of the region's top employers. Although this company is known for their socially-relevant product/technology and progressive culture/work-life balance, they also offer a comprehensive perks package in addition to salary. They employ a hybrid model consisting of two days/week in-office, therefore, only candidates local to the Ottawa region will be considered.

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field
- 6+ years of C++ development experience with modern C++ versions and libraries in both Windows and Linux environments building multi-threaded, distributed applications
- Experience with TCP/IP protocols, Wireshark, etc. is a strong asset
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to thrive autonomously as well as within a team
- Eligibility for Canadian Top-Secret Clearance
