Description
- Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Production Supervisor, Manager, Cleanroom Operations and/or Pharmacist in charge, the Cleanroom Team Lead is primarily responsible for day-to-day operations of the cleanroom, ensuring that productivity is achieved safely while meeting quality requirements.
- The Team Lead will oversee Cleanroom Technicians in preparing sterile preparation at the Fresenius Kabi Hospital Compounding facility according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records (MBRs).
- The incumbent must ensure that all functions are performed in a timely and efficient basis so that clients receive quality products with 100% customer satisfaction.
- The Cleanroom Team Lead must have the flexibility to assist in production activities such as compounding, staging, component sanitization, visual inspection, labeling and packaging.
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with Ontario College of Pharmacists is REQUIRED.
- Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a recognized community college.
- Previous leadership experience is an asset.
- Minimum 1-2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Previous sterile admixture compounding experience and knowledge required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and productively as part of a team. Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
