Role

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

We are seeking a talented Failure Analysis Technician to join our Quality team. We are looking for someone with analytical skills and a quality-first mindset. This role will report to the Senior Manager Quality and will be integral to our ‘Nothing Comes Back’ goal.

Responsibilities

• Failure Analysis, including functional testing
• Non-Conformance Reporting and Management
• 5S Laboratory Housekeeping
• Support the Quality Engineers with Structured Problem Solving
• Reporting to Internal and External Customers
  
  

Who You Are

Basic Qualifications:

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology or in a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Sc. in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Experience in a quality-related function (Failure Analysis, Structured Problem Solving)
• ASQ-certified CQT, or CQE
  
  

Skills

• Working knowledge of mechanical & electro-mechanical components and systems
• Analyzing CAD drawings and product functional & regulatory requirements
• Ability to work individually, and as part of a cross-functional team
• Excellent English language communication skills (verbal and written)
• Willingness to travel up 10% of the time
