Role description:
Our Clagary office is looking for a Landscape Architectural Co-op Student and Landscape Architectural Technologist Co-op student to join our team on a 4 month Co-op. In this role you will work with Landscape Architects and technologists to prepare conceptual designs and assist with design development and construction documentation Collaborate with other disciplines including planning, architectural and engineering technologists

The salary range for this position is $20-28/hour. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

In this role you will work with Landscape Architects and technologists to prepare conceptual designs and assist with design development and construction documentation Collaborate with other disciplines including planning, architectural and engineering technologists
Role accountabilities:
- Prepare drawings using CAD
- Complete quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates
- Assist with the creation of presentation drawings using Adobe Suite and SketchUp
- Local fieldwork in Southern Alberta
- Candidates should be currently enrolled in an accredited landscape architecture program or landscape architectural technology program
- Excellent graphic communication skills
- Proven technical expertise in AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Suite
- Proficiency in technical detailing, drafting and construction practices desired
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
