PROFILE:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Enterprise Applications Specialist with proven expertise in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Planner, and working knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in administering and supporting M365 applications, enhancing collaboration tools, and contributing to business intelligence and CRM-related tasks.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is passionate about driving user productivity, and has a solid understanding of how Microsoft cloud technologies can streamline business operations.

This position can be based in any of our Canadian offices!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer, configure, and support Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint Online, and Planner.
  • Implement and manage SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, and permissions to align with business requirements.
  • Provide user support and training on best practices for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Planner to increase adoption.
  • Monitor system health and usage, ensuring performance, compliance, and security across Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Assist with the integration of Power BI dashboards and reports into SharePoint or Teams environments for business reporting needs.
  • Support basic administration and data handling tasks in Microsoft Dynamics 365, including CRM configurations and data flow alignment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver optimized Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and workflows, and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
  • Maintain governance and compliance standards within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and Planner in a business environment.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 features, permission structures, and administration portals.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Power BI, including report consumption and integration with Microsoft 365 apps.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365—understanding of entity structures, data relationships, or user role configurations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Dataverse, and cloud-based data sources.
  • Microsoft 365 or Power Platform certifications
  • Experience with Power Automate and Dataverse is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory and security groups.
  • Prior experience working in agile, cross-functional IT teams.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Document Management Systems (DMS), as well as MS SQL, is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience providing end-user support and training.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database and application-related issues.
  • Excellent team work abilities, communication and collaboration skills, with attention to detail and process documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively within defined project timelines. Prior experience working in agile, cross-functional IT teams.

The starting range for this role is $55,000 - $80,000. Starting salary will be determined based on an applicant's individual skills, competencies, and unique qualifications. Gowling WLG employees have the potential to exceed this range based on tenure and performance.
