Job Summary

The Production Technician responsibilities support the Belimo Sensors Department to insure efficiencies of all required processes.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Production Technician reports directly to the General Manager and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble, check and package sub-components and finished products according to instruction, production order, work and inspection instructions as well as drawings in a quality and schedule-minded fashion.
• Mount items necessary for fulfilling the assembly orders of sub-components and finished products, including hand soldering of larger components to PCB
• Perform PCB and component testing using in house testing equipment
• Maintain order at the workplace, in the storage locations, and in rooms of general use.
• Cooperation within assembly team.
• Support with logistics packing and shipping.
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forward thinking with good time management skills
• Prior assembly and/or Manufacturing experience desirable
• Average manual dexterity (Hand to eye coordination)
• Mechanical ability necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Operate manufacturing equipment and simple electronic test equipment
  
  

The base pay for this position ranges from CA$19.00 to CA$22.00 hourly. Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
