RESPONSIBILITIES

Operation of Systems:

• Oversee mill fire protection systems.
• Operate automated and computerized control systems.
• Manage boilers and auxiliary boiler-related equipment.
• Operate auxiliary generators, compressors, and air systems.
• Maintained mill HVAC systems and managed steam and condensate operations.

Maintenance Duties:

• Conducted inspections and maintained all powerhouse-related equipment.
• Inspect and maintain mill fire response equipment and lift safety equipment.
• Maintain the mill steam distribution system, mill condensate systems, and mill air distribution systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Must possess a Second Class Operating Engineer’s certificate.
• Capability to work under production, time, and cost constraints.
• Completion of exam requirements for Second Class certification.
• Preference will be given to candidates with pulp and paper experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• The power plant has a total capacity of 1700 thermal-hours.
• Relocation assistance will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
