We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator / Coordinator to join our team at Durabuilt Windows & Doors. We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator / Coordinator to join our team at Durabuilt Windows & Doors. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for quality and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and related documents.
- Review and interpret plans, blueprints, contract requirements, and job specifications to gather a full understanding of the scope of the work to be estimated.
- Review and maintain a record of all addendums. Verify if there are any changes to the project scope and submit revised pricing to the sales team.
- Submit for engineering approvals and purchasing cost.
- Process orders, prepare order files and submit to scheduling.
- Coordinate with sales team and assist in preparing RFI’s and RFQ’s.
- Accurately prepare and provide proposal presentation to the sales team to present it to the client.
- Prepare contract package for executive approval and submission, ensuring all documents. are aligned and compliant with the contract.
- Prepare documents and attend project kick off meetings as the resource to all information and answers as it relates to the project product and requirements.
- Complete projects close out site walk, document deficiencies and process close out service.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to optimize efficiency and ensure project estimates are feasible and attainable.
- Other activities, duties and responsibilities as assigned.
