Nous concevons un produit hardware de haute performance, destiné à un marché passionné et exigeant. Notre approche repose sur une combinaison d’intuition terrain, de méthode scientifique et de design intelligent.

Nous amorçons une phase stratégique de finalisation du développement de notre produit. Nous cherchons à structurer et à solidifier le passage de notre version V1 vers une version V2 validée, optimisée et prête à être transférée vers la production à plus grande échelle. Cette phase comprend notamment la validation fonctionnelle sur le terrain, l’analyse comparative de matériaux, l’optimisation des composants mécaniques et ergonomiques, ainsi qu’un accompagnement étroit de la transition vers la fabrication. 

Ce qu’on cherche

Un·e designer industriel Senior ou ingénieur·e design industriel senior passionné·e de R&D, ayant une forte expertise en transfert technologique, capable de nous accompagner dans une démarche itérative pour :

• Finaliser la conception du produit sur des bases scientifiques et fonctionnelles solides.
• Participer aux tests terrains, à la sélection des matériaux, à la résolution de défis techniques, et aux optimisations mécaniques.
• Transformer un prototype validé en produit manufacturable, sans compromis sur la performance ni la qualité.
• Agir comme moteur de la recherche appliquée et du déploiement manufacturier, en pilotant toutes les étapes jusqu’à l’assemblage.

 Ton rôle concret

• Être le référent technique du transfert R&D → fabrication.
• Collaborer avec les fondateurs sur la finalisation de la V1 et le développement de la V2.
• Participer activement aux tests terrain, essais matériaux, validations fonctionnelles et mécaniques.
• Prendre en charge de la mise en échelle d'ingénierie du produit : DFM/DFA, documentation, spécifications techniques.
• Superviser une chaîne d’approvisionnement hybride
• Mettre en place des processus rigoureux de qualité, inspection, tests, adaptés à notre contexte startup.
• Participer à la conception de l’espace et des outils d’assemblage local.
• Avoir une posture proactive de résolution de problèmes et d’amélioration continue.

 Le profil qu’on cherche

• 5 à 10+ ans d’expérience en développement de produit physique / mise en production.
• Expérience solide dans un contexte R&D appliquée, avec des cycles de validation, test et fabrication.
• Connaissance approfondie des matériaux, procédés mécaniques, design pour fabrication.
• Expérience en gestion de fournisseurs locaux et internationaux.
• Capacité à structurer un transfert vers la fabrication sans perdre l’agilité d’un environnement de recherche.
• À l’aise avec CAD, plans techniques, outils numériques de documentation (Notion, Excel, ERP…).
• Autonome, rigoureux·se, structuré·e, motivé·e à résoudre des enjeux réels sur le terrain.
• Adepte de collaboration directe avec des équipes pluridisciplinaires (design, fondateurs, partenaires externes).

Who We Are

Rozvelt is a fast-growing Quebec-based company developing a breakthrough hardware innovation in the outdoor and hunting industry. We’re designing a high-performance physical product for a passionate and demanding market. Our approach blends real-world field intuition, scientific methodology, and smart design.

We’re entering a strategic phase of product development finalization. Our goal is to transition from our V1 prototype to a validated, optimized V2 version — ready for scaled manufacturing. This phase includes field performance validation, comparative materials analysis, optimization of mechanical and ergonomic components, and tight support through the manufacturing transfer process.

What We’re Looking For

A Senior Industrial Designer or Senior Design Engineer passionate about R&D and highly skilled in tech transfer, ready to support us through an iterative process to:

• Finalize the product design based on solid scientific and functional foundations.
• Participate in field testing, material selection, technical problem-solving, and mechanical optimization.
• Transform a validated prototype into a manufacturable product without compromising performance or quality.
• Act as a driving force for applied research and manufacturing deployment, leading all stages up to final assembly.

Your Role

• Be the technical reference for the R&D → manufacturing transfer.
• Collaborate closely with the founders to finalize V1 and develop V2.
• Take an active part in field tests, materials trials, and mechanical/functional validations.
• Lead the product engineering scale-up: DFM/DFA, documentation, and technical specs.
• Supervise a hybrid supply chain.
• Implement rigorous processes for quality, inspection, and testing, tailored to a startup context.
• Help design the layout and tools for a small-scale assembly space.
• Maintain a proactive, problem-solving mindset and strive for continuous improvement.

The Profile We’re Looking For

• 5–10+ years experience in physical product development and manufacturing ramp-up.
• Strong track record in applied R&D contexts, with iterative test-build cycles.
• Deep knowledge of materials, mechanical processes, and design for manufacturability.
• Experience managing local and international suppliers.
• Ability to structure a manufacturing transfer while preserving startup agility.
• Comfortable with CAD, technical drawings, and digital documentation tools (Notion, Excel, ERP, etc.).
• Autonomous, rigorous, structured, and motivated to solve real-world challenges.
• Enjoys hands-on collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (design, founders, external partners).
