Duties and responsibilities:

·         Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse

·         Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings

·         Empty trash cans and other waste containers

·         Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs

·         Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures

·         May move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies

·         Cleaning: Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and washing surfaces to maintain a tidy and sanitary environment.

·         Painting: Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to property interiors and exteriors to maintain and improve their appearance. This includes preparing surfaces for painting and making minor repairs to walls before painting

·         Floor Care: Conduct regular maintenance of flooring, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing. Treat specific floor types (like hardwood or tile) with appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.

·         Heavy-Duty Floor Care: Operate industrial floor care equipment such as swing machines and walk-behind auto scrubbers for deep cleaning, stripping, and refinishing of floors.
