TL;DR:

Revolutionize Enterprise Data Access
At MAXA, we unlock the potential of enterprise data through our unique technology. Say goodbye to complex
Excel spreadsheets and lengthy IT projects for interpreting ERP data.
Our mission: automate the transformation of raw data from multiple ERP systems into a pre-computed stream of financial, operational, and supply chain insights ready to be consumed by executives and their teams.
The Impact You’ll Make
As an Analytics Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our revolutionary UBDM (Unified Business Data Model) framework, shaping the future of enterprise data utilization. You'll have a direct and measurable impact on our product and clients starting from your second week!
You'll build the crucial bridge between technical and business by:
- Designing and implementing UBDM transformations using dbt, converting raw ERP data into structured models
- Working closely with our cross-functional teams: data science, BI, business specialists
- Optimizing SQL queries in Snowflake to maximize performance
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our proprietary data model
You’re The Right Fit If:
- You master DBT and are passionate about its possibilities
- You're comfortable with SQL and Git, and knowledgeable about Python
- You have 3-5 years of experience in data modeling, serving business purposes (ERP systems would be great!)
- You have a deep understanding of software development best practices
- You can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions
- You communicate proactively, in both English and French
- You're curious and not afraid to test new approaches
This position is not for you if:
- You thrive on rigid procedures and traditional corporate structures rather than the flexibility and innovation of a growing startup
- You seek a generalist role that blends data engineering, analytics engineering, and software development responsibilities
- Your passion lies in analyzing data insights rather than building robust data transformation architectures
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: $110K-$140K based on experience
- Training: SnowPro Core certification included in onboarding plan
- Generous vacation: 4 weeks in first year, 5 weeks thereafter
- RRSP: Employer contribution up to 2% after 3 months
- On-site chef: Prepared meals for just $12.50/lunch
- Growth potential: Series A equity
What Your Integration Will Look Like?
Join a tight-knit team of 6-8 people under the leadership of Eliott Pourrat, a manager passionate about the professional development of his team.
From day one:
- Team meeting and documentation review
- Concrete onboarding project with fake data but a real client problem
- Real impact from week 2 with your first production contributions
- Rapid progression: supporting one client, then a second, before becoming responsible for an existing client
Recruitment Process

- Team fit interview with David (1hr, in-person)
- Technical interview with Nicolas & Eliott (1.5hrs, in-person) including SQL/Python coding and DBT questions
