We have an exciting opportunity in our British Columbia region. We are looking for a Broker Operation Specialist (BOS). This role will be primarily accountable for leading operational efficiency and service execution across an assigned broker panel. The team member will be handling incoming broker demand (i.e., broker setup, product inquiries, accommodation requests), and ensure direct action is taken or managed across cross-functional Aviva teams.
The individual will also actively lead a set of assigned brokers by monitoring overall performance, including setting business, profit, and growth plans. Acting as the Aviva quarterback, the team member will set recurring meetings with brokers and other Aviva partners to increase the overall relationship with the business.
This role is critical in driving Aviva’s profitable growth strategy set out by the region, executing on broker plans, strategic initiatives, underwriting audits, and ensuring financial targets are met. Working on the Business Development team offers terrific exposure across multiple teams in the organization and the ability to work with a vast array of brokers in the British Columbia region!

What You’ll Do
- Internal and external broker demand, coordinated through Salesforce
- Broker setup
- Broker performance plans
- Underwriting resolution support
- Regional and National broker communication delivery
- Execution on regional broker initiatives (eg. pricing, product)
- Executing on underwriting audit recommendations and plans
- Broker performance management across a group of brokers
- Liaison with Broker Training Team
- Attendance of regional broker events, meetings, and campaigns
- Completion or enrolment in CIP an asset
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- Business experience in the P&C industry or similar
- Track record of delivering both individually and through teams
- Coordination of cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong networking capabilities
- Customer, results, and service focused
- Basic understanding of marketing (traditional & digital) and broker technology
