Welding Supervisor
Kitchener Executive Consultants Inc

Our client, a Canadian owned and entrepreneurial business, is looking to add a Welding Supervisor to its team. This is a hands on supervisory role managing a small department of welders and fabricators and contributing as needed to see projects through to completion. A degree or diploma with a welding specialization, a minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and excellent planning, organizational, and presentation skills are baseline requirements for this challenging and high profile role. The Welding Supervisor will manage all new fabrications and oversee the repair work to existing fabrications in addition to controlling inventories of steel, scheduling jobs, and managing the efforts of a hard working team.
We are searching for candidates with a strong background in welding and fabrication and individuals willing to be hands on as a working Supervisor. As the Leader of the Welding/Fabrication function, this is a great opportunity for a Supervisor to work autonomously as well as provide support for the other supervisory Leader when needed. In addition, candidates who offer measurable exposure to Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement initiatives will greatly enhance their candidacy. If you enjoy a fast-paced, customer focused environment where your days are filled with the quality expectations of structural welding, we invite you send us your resume. In turn, our Client can offer a competitive salary and benefits.
