We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Coordinator to join our team!

Location – 2400 Skymark Avenue, Mississauga ON

Hours- 8AM-4PM

Description

  • Responsible for submitting purchase orders to external vendors for replenishment of inventory items (consumables, raw materials, narcotics)
  • Interacts with procurement and inventory control, planning, customer service, maintenance, pharmacy and production departments to resolve day to day issues (e.g., order processing, product shortages, narcotic flow) and collaborate with all departments on continuous improvement initiatives and other projects as directed
  • Oversees the efficient receiving, handling, labelling and posting of all inbound shipments through.
  • Oversees the efficient put-away of all inbound shipments to their corresponding locations.
  • Oversees the cycle count process to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Oversees picking and replenishment for all compounding requirements.
  • Oversees picking and packing of finished goods.
  • Oversees for the accuracy of outbound shipments.
  • Oversees the safe operations of manual and motorized material handling equipment for all physical material movement within the site
  • Oversees the efficient and cost effective assignment of transportation couriers for all outbound shipments and assist the Supervisor and Team Lead in troubleshooting logistical issues.
  • Assists the Supervisor in material movements, identifying low and high levels of inventory.
  • Assists the Supervisor in preparing material data for ordering.
  • Assists the Supervisor in preparing performance evaluations by providing performance feedbacks for all operations staff.
  • Acts as a temporary back-up in the absence of Warehouse personnel
  • Responsible for maintaining GxP standards as prescribed by Corporate.
  • Responsible for report or documentation of data to support KPI reporting.
  • Oversee receiving activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy of material receipts (systemic and manual.
  • Oversee “put-away” activities in an efficient and timely manner
  • Ensure proper inventory levels by conducting timely movement and consumption analysis.
  • Ensure proper and timely reporting of data to generate established KPIs.
  • Reconciles inventory discrepancies through coordination with other departments (i.e. Finance and NetCare)
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

Relations With Others

Internally, regular interaction with other Logistics Operators, Compounders, Clean Room Technicians, Supervisors and Managers along with the Purchasing department.

Externally there is interaction with vendors and transportation companies.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical effort: 50% of the work is done while in a standing position. Concurrently, 50% of this time is spent bending, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, and lifting objects that generally do not exceed

30 lbs. Use of the ‘buddy’ system in the event that an item is over 30 lbs, and use of the Reach truck or a pallet jack for full pallet loads. The physical environment is a clean and quiet warehouse setting. PPE Requirement: Safety shoes must be worn at all times. Other PPE requirements, task dependent, may include but is not limited to: masks, gloves, puncture resistant gloves, etc.

Sensory Attention: Operation of the reach truck requires extra attention than normally would be required for other warehouse duties. 80% of the work is performed on a computer display terminal. The job has a variable work pace with a normal degree of pressure.

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Education Required
  • Must be Accepted as an A/QPIC for Dispensing Narcotics.
  • Raymond Reach and Power Walkie Rider Certification
  • Minimum 4 years previous warehouse receiving, shipping, inventory control experience required (pharmaceutical industry and asset)
  • Previous leadership experience is an asset
  • Good knowledge of computer applications
  • Prior experience with ERP systems (SAP MM, SD and LE) is a must with/WMS RF scanner experience
  • Experience in manpower planning and scheduling
  • To meet business requirements and as business dictates, this position requires shift work on a rotational basis.
