Position Overview
We are seeking a Qualified “M” Technician on a contractual basis – Rotation
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform work on aircraft as outlined by applicable Inspection Instructions, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins or other approved schemes in accordance with accepted practices;
- Ensure that all items of work are recorded and signed out as required on the applicable Maintenance Control forms;
- Guide the apprentice engineers in their tasks and ensure that the approved methods and materials are used in performing the work on the aircraft;
- Maintain in good order the AMO facilities, such as shop, store, library; and its surroundings.
- Carry out any other assigned duties as directed by the Senior Base Engineer;
- Hold a valid M1 and/or M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license or minimum 3 years experience as an apprentice.
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience on the following Aircraft Types: Dash 8 100/300, Beech King Air and DHC 6
- Applicant must be able to work autonomously and have good organizational skills;
- Accommodations, meals, travel between Montreal and work location are provided
- Positions available are primarily nightshift and are based on 3 week on/off rotations
