About The Role

The Leasing Manager is an influential role based out of our Vancouver Leasing Gallery that will operate in the field to help advance and achieve leasing success. This unique opportunity allows for continued influence on the leasing floor along with growth, learning and exposure to multiple aspects of leasing strategy and programming. Reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager and working closely with the Leasing Advisor and Leasing Coordinator, this role is responsible for providing an exception experience to Leasing Gallery visitors while also supporting the growth, motivation and development of our leasing team.

  • Represent the Marcon and Mera brands and assist in directing all aspects of the Mera leasing experience
  • Oversees and manages the full leasing funnel
  • Ensure that the property’s lead management software processes and procedures are being met daily for prospect follow-up, new resident workflow, and resident lease execution.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and daily communication with prospects to drive leasing velocity in line with strategic goals
  • Influence and oversee the daily execution of the leasing program, including prospect management, tours, follow-up, and deal conversions
  • Lead, motivate, and provide guidance to a team of exceptional Leasing Advisors and Leasing Coordinators
  • Support the Area Sales Manager with leasing incentives, pricing strategies, and program execution
  • Ensure each guest visiting the Leasing Gallery receives an exceptional introduction to the project and a high-quality leasing experience
  • Pre-qualify prospects, conduct display and unit tours, and manage follow-up activities to convert prospects to applicants
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as needed on leasing activities, traffic, applications, conversions, and occupancy
  • Coordinate closely with other departments to support seamless program delivery
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, reporting insights and making strategic recommendations to optimize leasing performance

You possess excellent organizational and communication skills and show up daily ready to make an impact.

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in residential leasing or property management
  • Experience leading or supporting a leasing team is preferred
  • Exceptional work ethic and a strong sense of urgency
  • Familiarity with Yardi, CRM Flex or equivalent CRM systems is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) is essential
  • Familiarity with DocuSign
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Solid understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Passionate about delivering an exceptional leasing experience and motivating your team to do the same
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to drive results independently and take ownership of leasing goals and metrics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Construction, etc.)
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to support leasing activities across project sites
  • Post-secondary education is preferred but not required
  • A second language (Mandarin, Korean, etc.) is an asset but not required

Base Salary + Commission: The total compensation for this role is approximately $98,375 annually, including base salary and performance-based commissions for each new lease signed.
