Salesforce Architect

On behalf of our educational sector client, Affinity is looking for a seasoned professional Salesforce Architect with deep expertise in architecting Salesforce solutions within complex enterprise environments—ideally with experience in higher education—and a passion for designing scalable, cost-effective solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities:

This role will primarily support a core CRM implementation project, while also contributing to our broader enterprise CRM transformation initiative. The architect will play a key role in shaping and executing our Salesforce strategy across multiple faculties and business units. We are specifically looking for someone who can:

• Lead technical solution design across Salesforce core platforms (Sales and Service Cloud), Education Cloud, and 3rd-party/API integrations.

• Define scalable, enterprise-wide Salesforce data models and a phased CRM architecture roadmap.

• Guide and mentor the Salesforce development team to align with best practices and ensure sustainability and data compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and non-Salesforce architects to deliver integrated, cost-efficient, and future-proof solutions.

• Conduct architectural reviews, identify technical risks early, and proactively mitigate delivery risks.

• Contribute to data governance planning in alignment with university data policies.

Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in architecting Salesforce solutions within complex enterprise environments.

• Ideally, experience in higher education settings.

• Proficiency in Salesforce core platforms (Sales and Service Cloud), Education Cloud, and 3rd-party/API integrations.

• Ability to define scalable, enterprise-wide Salesforce data models and phased CRM architecture roadmaps.

• Strong mentoring skills to guide Salesforce development teams on best practices, sustainability, and data compliance.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and non-Salesforce architects to deliver integrated solutions.

• Capability to conduct architectural reviews, identify risks, and mitigate delivery challenges.

• Knowledge of data governance principles, particularly in alignment with university data policies.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud.

• Salesforce Developer II certification.
