Job Purpose

Assist and support our HR Learning & Organizational Development team with training & development initiatives, to ensure consistent and continuous growth and development of our team members by creating eLearning videos, analyzing/reporting data, updating training materials, promoting learning, building strong relationships with business partners and other day-to-day activities. Excellent opportunity for someone interested in training, development, instructional design, education. The intern will collaborate with the Director of Learning and Organizational Development, Training Specialist and various members of the Human Resources team across our region.

Duties And Responsibilities

Below are the main priorities:

  • Assist in designing, organizing and updating training materials via eLearning training modules
  • Support rollout of various training programs as needed, align region-wide (US, Canada, Israel, Japan)
  • Work closely with Training Specialist in transitioning various trainings from VIL to eLearning
  • Analyze and organize data to support decisions on future learning assignments and programs
  • Support creation of technical videos (plan, create, execute), leverage global best practices
  • Research and maintain training material, benchmarking data and communication vehicles
  • Schedule and coordinate trainings - book & setup webinars and onsite rooms
  • Contact employees about training programs - registration, confirmation, prework, waitlists, feedback, etc.
  • Assist with communication and promotion of HR L&OD initiatives (email, banners, TVs, Sync, R&R, etc.)
  • Print/copy/bind/order training materials/certificates/collateral
  • Assist with compiling/analyzing training data for business reviews/presentations, including IDP rollup, track training inputs & outputs and propose continuous process/tools/learning technology improvement ideas
  • Participate in HR Team activities

Additional Responsibility (Only Applicable To Customer Facing Roles)

Report any adverse event received from customers for company products to the pharmacovigilance department / Drug Safety on the same day or within 1 business day

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Education, Human Resources, Communication, Marketing or a related Business field
  • Strong organizational, emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • Interested in training, instructional design and/or professional development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) and familiar with eLearning tools such as Articulate is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively, working across geographies/generations

Working conditions

Full-time: 9:00 – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
