The Financial Analyst, FP&A is a new position to help build out the firm’s analytical capabilities and ensure IA takes full advantage of its investment in financial & marketing systems. This position will work in the FP&A team and support the validation and analysis of financial data for budgeting, forecasting, benchmarking and long-term planning processes for the company. The position includes providing financial analysis, modeling and market research for senior management. Also includes the development, deployment, and maintenance of financial systems and tools. This position will work closely with the Director FP&A, CFO, CMO and Controller.

- Develop new financial reports and dashboards for senior management and operations teams, including Prophix and Deltek systems.
- Facilitate annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes and reporting.
- Maintain data integrity by analyzing computer information within the ERP financial modules, perform data validation and process verification to establish accuracy and consistency.
- Become a subject matter expert for current ERP and ancillary analytical platforms.
- Provide systems software functionality support and training to financial staff.
- Generate financial analysis reports to internal clients and assist them with comprehending and effectively utilize the data.
- Support the development and deployment of financial systems and reporting tools.
- Provide financial support to corporate directors and account teams.
- Provide financial & analytical support to performance benchmarking and valuation activities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. MBA or CFA a plus.
- Combination of related degree(s) and relevant work experience acceptable.
- 3-5 years’ experience in accounting, finance & financial systems.
- Familiarity with professional services and/or the AEC industry financial metrics.
- Understanding of basic project accounting policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting deadlines.
- Advanced to expert level Excel skills.
- Prior experience with Vision / VantagePoint Deltek systems preferred.
- Exposure to FP&A tools, AI platforms for finance.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Deltek GovWin a plus.
