The Successful Applicant Will Possess The Following
- Domestic and/or Commercial Design/Detailing Experience.
- Experience in CAD and other relevant software.
- General understanding of the Construction Industry.
- Knowledge about the Light Gauge Steel and Structural Steel Industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Building Code and Relevant Canadian Standards is an asset.
- Civil or Structural Engineering Degree is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Architectural Technologist is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Motivated and Enthusiastic Attitude with a willingness to learn and commit to the overall success of Durabuilt.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Understand and interpret architectural and structural drawings and documentation.
- Communicating with clients to procure all information and complete any relevant RFI’s.
- Produce accurate layout drawings, 3D Models and Production Files
- Communicate clearly and concisely with clients, colleagues and all other relevant stakeholders.
