What You’ll Like About This Job

Vale Base Metals is seeking certified welders for its Sudbury operations. This full-time position focuses on structural steel fabrication, pressure welding, and custom metal work in a heavy industrial mining environment. Candidates must hold a Red Seal 437A certification and demonstrate strong technical skills in oxy-fuel cutting, blueprint interpretation, and equipment repair.

What You’ll Need

• 437A Red Seal Metal Fabricator Certification
• CWB Certification
• Minimum of 4 years of industrial welding/fabrication experience
• Proficiency in reading structural, piping, and vessel drawings
• Experience with oxy-fuel and plasma arc cutting tools
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Rigging and material handling skills
• Experience with custom fabrication equipment (press brakes, shears, saws)
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and welding codes
• Ability to work independently and interpret complex shop drawings
