Duties And Responsibilities
Performance Testing & Analysis:
- Analyze business requirements and system architecture to identify performance risks.
- Design, develop, and execute performance tests (load, stress, endurance, scalability, and spike testing).
- Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Neoload for automation.
- Develop and execute API performance tests for backend validation.
- Implement automated performance test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins.
- Utilize cloud-based performance testing solutions (AWS, Azure).
- Develop data-driven performance testing techniques using various input sources (databases, CSV, APIs).
- Work with APM tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics to monitor and analyze system performance.
- Track and analyze performance issues, working closely with developers for resolution.
- Maintain test documentation including test plans, scripts, execution logs, and reports
- Provide trend analysis and recommendations based on test results
- Work with development and DevOps teams to optimize system performance.
- Establish and follow best practices for performance testing and automation
- Assist in developing guidelines for test automation and cloud-based performance validation
- The Senior Performance Test Engineer reports directly to the Manager, Software Quality Assurance

This Role is a 6 month contract
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing & Automation.
- Expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner, Neo load, or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience in API performance testing and automation.
- Experience with cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, PowerShell, or Shell scripting).
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Dynamics CRM, or other healthcare applications.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI, and other healthcare compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on knowledge sharing
- The Senior Performance Test Engineer must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all assigned duties, meeting performance benchmarks, and contributing to overall system reliability.
