Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, the Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees while maintaining compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and company policies. KEV is looking to add a Payroll Administrator to our Finance team. Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, the Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees while maintaining compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and company policies. This role involves managing payroll records, responding to employee inquiries, and collaborating with HR and Finance teams to support seamless payroll operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Maintain payroll records, update employee information, and process payroll changes
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labour laws, and company policies
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations
- 4+ years of experience in payroll administration or a related field
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with payroll processing systems such as Ceridian Dayforce, ADP WFN or UKG
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Payroll Compliance Professional Certification (PCP) or In Progress through the National Payroll Institute
