Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $50,000-60,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.

Corporate Actions Associate
How does the role impact the organization?
The position of Corporate Actions Associate requires the ability to effectively balance varied functions, while maintaining our high level of service and attention to detail. Proven strengths in time management, multi-tasking and organization are necessary attributes in achieving our service goals.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Process and reconcile various corporate action payments;
- Calculate cash in lieu of fractional payments;
- Liaise with Financial Advisors (FAs) and support staff processing client instructions;
- Download information bulletins to review and modify for notice distribution;
- Conduct research on reorganizations and entitlements and compare to firm data;
- Communicate with internal departments and third party organizations, including CDS, DTCC, Transfers Agents;
- Provide assistance and/or back up coverage support to other team members as required; and
- Participate in department initiatives or projects related to the Operations/Corporate Actions Department.

What do we expect from you?
To qualify for this opportunity you possess:
- Fundamental investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a willingness and ability to learn new applications.
- Work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and an imperative attention to detail;
- Demonstrate advanced face-to-face, email, videoconferencing, and telephone etiquette and relationship management skills;
- Assist others with flexibility and willingness as required;
- Exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information; and
- Communicate proficiently in French is an asset.
- Post-secondary education; and
- A minimum of 2 years of industry or related experience.
