Position Summary:

This role focuses on project coordination and project management for the Marketing team, with a key aspect being the coordination of several consumer-facing live events in both Canada and the US. This role also provides general Marketing Operations support on projects including tracking and reporting to ensure budgets and deliverable timelines are met, vendors are being paid and project objectives are met.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, and logistics oversight on several marketing events, including venue and travel bookings, working with external vendors, securing resources and working with creative to ensure event assets align with brand objectives.
  • Project Management/Coordination support including:
    • Supplier and Freelance Contract management, vendor setup & invoice processing
    • DAM server organization and management, ensuring creative assets available for stakeholders
    • Coordination support on various types of marketing project needs
  • General Marketing Operations and administrative team support
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, teams and other Office software
  • Experience working with Project Management software platforms (eg Hive, Monday or Asana)
  • Extremely organized, and ability to work with ambiguity or changing project requirements
  • Ability to problem solve/solution on the fly when issues come up during a project or event
  • Ability to maintain and track budget spending; ensuring contractors or vendors for projects are managed as per project needs and paid on time
  • Ability to build timelines, and maintain project tracking and reporting systems
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to facilitate communication with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and inter-personal communication skills required

Position Qualifications:

Education:

Post-secondary training in project or event management, business studies or equivalent coordination/leadership fields of study

Experience:

3 years of experience working as Project Coordinator or similar project lead roles

Experience with Event planning or coordination of Experiential marketing initiatives preferred

Experience Working With Marketing/Creative Teams Preferred

Experience with mountain bike, outdoor sports, or racing communities is a plus

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Office Environment

Willing and able to travel internationally for event work as needed

Must have valid driver’s license

Compensation Range

$54,432 - $74,843 CAD

The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed above and is the range Fox reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
